The Cross of Grace

As we continue to deal with this theme, Boasting in the Cross, I believe it would be significant to emphasize the grace of God in relation to the death of Christ. Of course, when we speak of grace, we are referring to God’s undeserved favor. The truth of the matter is, we all deserve to be punished because of all our sins, but God in His grace punished His own Son instead.
Paul dealt with this truth extensively in the book of Romans. Our main text will help establish the glory of the cross based on God’s grace or God’s gift. Where can we see the expression of grace in the cross?
