Giving
"Faithful giving to me is a spiritual matter that is also a central part of our faithful living as individuals and/or as a family, as central as our devotion to prayer, it is our act of worship to glorify God. My family is a firm believer of faithful giving and it is our privelege to give back to the Lord's work. Who wouldn't want to experience God's faithfullness work in our lives as He continually supply all our needs? The truth is, we can never outgive God, and the Lord has been faithfully proving that to me and my family as we look back to the abundance of blessing we received. The blessings of peace and joy in my household is priceless, He never failed to keep everyone spiritually and physically healthy. Financially, inspite of having a single earner in our household, He is exceedingly providing for our needs, even in sickness, he raises up one healthier than ever; forever praising God for being the source of everything.

Initially it was hard to accept that I have to give 10 percent of what I earned. I used to give a dollar or two for offering before I became a Christian. As I was learning more about Jesus Christ, I found out that tithing is a form of worship. Not giving your tithes is robbing God who is the source of everything. The fear of tithing simply went away when I started honoring God in everything. When I learned to trust him to provide for all my needs.

Proverbs 3:9, Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruit of all your crops, then your barns will be filled to overflowing and your vats will brim over with new wine. Sure enough I never had financial shortage, I always have God's protection and he gives me the joy and the peace that transcends all understanding.
