“For the vision is yet for the appropriate time; It hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3

God revealed a vision for evangelization to BCI in late 1982. Throughout the past ten years, God gave numerous situations to repeatedly realize and achieve it in accordance to His grace. Looking ahead to the next decades, BCI invites others to share its visions. Present challenges are inevitable and growing. Meaningful goals that will contribute to the expansion of the body of Christ must, therefore, be pursued and attained.

Foremost, BCI will persist in reaching out and touching the lives of others in Jesus’ name and maintain its practice of raising and supporting a daughter church every year. Missions awareness and participation will be escalated by increasing missions offering, sending missionaries both local and foreign mission fields and sponsoring short term mission activities for interested parties to minister and see what God is doing around the globe.

BCI looks forward to a greater lay involvement in the next years to come. It will strongly encourage consistent worship attendance, membership and personal involvement in a variety of ministries. An ongoing discipleship program will be maintained and a visitation ministry will be established. As opportunities arise, services related to chemical dependency and prison and hospital confinement will be added to the existing outreach ministries.

It is BCI’s vision to enhance its worship with a dynamic preaching and music ministry which cater to multi-language services. Small group dynamics through CPMs have proven to be effective in meeting individual needs in fostering a closer relationship among church and family members. Efforts to multiply CPMs in several locations will, therefore, have a high priority in the immediate future. BCI will cultivate the growing population of spiritually maturing brethren in preparation for a strong counseling ministry.

A well-equipped laity increases the local church’s quality of ministry. BCI has a large pool of human resources yet untapped and a great potential for delivering excellent services to the local body and the surrounding secular community. It will work on strengthening a leadership base that is committed to developing a good ministry equipping program. Time and talents invested on training will promote the lay worker’s confidence and dedication thereby increasing the quality of ministry. BCI will endeavor to establish an accredited Bible training center which will produce well equipped, skilled and high caliber Christians who can minister effectively.

BCI offers back to the Lord all of its ten years of successful ministry. God walked BCI through the difficult paths leading to all of its accomplishments in the last decade. He cleared impossible obstacles which threatened to hinder the delivery of the gospel to the people longing to know their God. And what a joy the sweet victory brings to those who shared in the trials and triumph of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. The summon to His obedience, the fullness of His grace and the privilege of serving a majestic and awesome King inspire and drive BCI to continue pressing on towards the call of God.

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14
